Maroon 5 star pens song about Diaz

Maroon 5 star pens song about Diaz
Adam Levine is set to write a song about Cameron Diaz.

The Maroon 5 singer - who has been photographed enjoying intimate dates with the blonde actress - thinks his best songs are based on his girlfriends.

The 30-year-old musician said: "I tend to be inspired by and write about the relationship I'm in.

"Cameron and I have known each other for a while and have been hanging out."

If Levine pens a track about Cameron, it won't be the first time he has written about a lover.

Maroon 5's hit album 'Songs About Jane', which includes the songs 'She Will Be Loved' and 'Sunday Morning', was written about his ex-girlfriend.

Cameron - who split from British model Paul Sculfor earlier this year - recently revealed she is scared of settling down and getting married.

The 36-year-old actress said: "I'm a commitment-phobe! It's about being in the right position, the right place and the right time. I don't want to get married. I just want to catch the bouquet - I have a collection of bouquets!"

Last month, it was reported Cameron had introduced Adam to her mother over lunch.

Wentz and Simpson show support for gay marriage
The Fall Out Boy bassist and the actress/singer were outraged by California Supreme Court's recent decision to uphold a gay marriage ban - six months after homosexual unions were declared valid.

And the celebrity couple has now posed for a portrait in collaboration with California's NOH8 campaign, which seeks to overturn the ban.

The pair appear with NOH8 painted on their faces and duct tape over their mouths to symbolise how supporters of same-sex unions have been silenced.

Just last month, they joined protests in Hollywood after the California Supreme Court upheld the ban, which came into effect under the Proposition 8 legislation last November.

Madonna ecstatic at adoption ruling

Madonna ecstatic at adoption ruling
MADONNA has praised Malawi's high court for allowing her to adopt toddler Mercy James.

The Material Girl was given the go-ahead by judges on Friday to legally adopt the four year old after the first rejection was overturned.

Madonna, 50, issued a statement that said she was "extremely grateful" to the Malawian courts and is looking forward to bringing Mercy home to New York.

She said: "I am ecstatic. My family and I look forward to sharing our lives with her."

Madonna's lawyer Alan Chinula broke the happy news to the singer in a late night phone call.

He said: "I was just through to New York and it is the early hours but Madonna has been awake waiting for news. She was ecstatic. I'm now waiting for instructions to start preparing for Mercy's travel arrangements."

Madonna first attempted to adopt Mercy in April but her bid was rejected on the grounds that prospective parents have to be resident in the country for 18 to 24 months.

But Malawi's state's chief justice, Lovemore Munlo, praised the singer for her dedication to helping orphans in the country, insisting little Mercy, whose mother died when she was a baby, will have a much better life as Madonna's daughter,

He says, "In our view, (Mercy) is better taken care of by being adopted by foreign parents who will give her love and affection. In this global village, a man can have more than one place at which he resides. The matter of residence should be determined at the time of application of the adoption. In this case, Madonna was in Malawi not by chance but by intention."

The adoption news has also been welcomed by Mercy's surviving family members, with her uncle, Peter Baneti, revealing: "We hope Mercy will be joining Madonna soon."

Madonna adopted Malawian-born David Banda in 2006, amid criticisms she side-stepped the country's adoption laws. She also has two biological children - Lourdes, 12, and Rocco, eight.

	 Miley Cyrus pierces her nose
Miley Cyrus has had her nose pierced.

Internet gossips have been awash with speculation about Cyrus' new body piercing ever since the singer/actress posted a picture of herself and her mother on her Twitter.com page earlier this week.

The picture clearly shows Cyrus, 16, sporting a stud in her nose.

And now the Hannah Montana's star's father, Billy Ray Cyrus, has confirmed the piercing is real - and admitted he took her to the studio to face the needle.

He said: "Her daddy took her (to the piercing studio). She said, 'Daddy, would you take me to get my nose pierced?' I said, 'Did you ask your momma?' And she said, 'Yes. Mama said I could do it if you would take me.'

"I thought kind of it was one of those bizarre moments. But honestly, my life and what we're going through and the things that we've been through, it's like being in The Twilight Zone. So I just kind of roll with the punches."

Gwen Stefani gets writers' block
GWEN STEFANI has admitted that she is scared she won't be able to write a song again.

The singer, who has reunited with her band No Doubt after a five-year hiatus to release two solo albums, has revealed she is concerned about her lack of ability to write new material.

No Doubt's current summer tour will only feature the band's greatest hits collection due to Stefani's writer's block.

Speaking to ELLE magazine, she said: "I want so badly to write a record. I want to make every other songwriter jealous. But that's not happening right now. I might never be able to write another song.

"I always referred to No Doubt as a marriage because that's what it's like to be together for so long and to go through what we've been through. I can't really have that relationship with them anymore. My priorities are always going to be my husband and my family now."

Katy Perry never has casual sex

Katy Perry never has casual sexKaty Perry never has casual sex.

The 'I Kissed a Girl’ singer – who reconciled with her boyfriend, Gym Class Heroes rocker Travis McCoy in April after a four-month split - won’t jump into bed with someone unless they have a 'connection' and prefers to make lovers wait.

She said: 'I’m not casual at all. I’ve always been into making a connection with someone. That’s what it’s all about for me. Besides, it’s sexier to be mysterious and not give it away. I never hook up.'

The 24-year-old beauty is so vehement with her beliefs she claims she won’t even kiss someone unless they have been on a date.

She explained: 'If I really like a person then I’ll go on a date. But you’ll never catch me just randomly making out with someone.'

In March, Katy was spotted on a series of intimate dates with US singer-songwriter Josh Groban who she had previously named as her 'most embarrassing crush'.

Despite her sexual reservations, Katy admits she falls in love easily and has learnt a lot from her ex-boyfriends.

She added to Seventeen magazine: "I fall in love every time. I don't really fall in love a lot, but when I do, I fall hard. I've had about four boyfriends, and I fell in love with all of them – each of them served a purpose."

Eminem happy about successful MTV stunt

Eminem happy about successful MTV stunt
Eminem is 'thrilled' with the reaction to his and Sacha Baron Cohen’s butt-thrusting stunt at the MTV Movie Awards.

The rapper has confirmed the pair planned the hilarious prank – which saw Sacha's scantily-clad alter-ego Bruno, a gay Austrian fashion reporter, wrap his legs around Eminem’s head and push his bare buttocks into his face – and insists it has worked out better than they could have imagined.

The 'Stan’ hitmaker – who stormed out of the event in fake disgust – revealed: "I'm thrilled that we pulled this off, even better than we rehearsed. It had so many people going 'nuts' so to speak. Everyone was blowing up about it.

"After the ceremony I went back to my hotel and laughed uncontrollably for about three hours. Especially after I saw it air."

Eminem says Sacha asked him to participate in the stunt a few weeks ago and he had no hesitations about saying yes.

The hip-hop star explained: "Sacha called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the Movie Awards. I'm a big fan of his work so I agreed to get involved with the gag."

According to reports, Paris Hilton had been asked to be part of the prank at the ceremony - which was held at the Gibson Amphitheatre, in Universal City, California, on Sunday night (31.05.09) – but refused.

Robin Gibb to join Bill Wyman and his Rhythm Kings

Robin Gibb to join Bill Wyman and his Rhythm KingsA unique music event will take place at the Heritage Foundation's Annual Summer Ball on the evening of June 20th 2009 at the Millennium Hotel in London's Grosvenor Square, when the charity's president, Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees, will play live on stage with rock legend and former Rolling Stone Bill Wyman with his Rhythm Kings.

The two friends are coming together to help raise funds to build a memorial to the forgotten heroes of the Second World War - the men of Bomber Command. Of all the branches of the armed forces, they faced the deadliest odds, with 55,573 killed, almost half of all those who flew on operations over occupied Europe. Yet nearly 70 years on, there is no monument in central London to their sacrifice.

Better known for its blue plaque tributes to deceased members of the entertainment professions, The Heritage Foundation combines paying tribute to Britain's wealth of talent who have bought pleasure and joy to millions through their performances or technical skills with raising funds for good causes through The Arts and Entertainment Charitable Trust.
